Brewer wanted, salary of £25-30,000 depending on experience.
Burning Sky is a small brewery in Firle, East Sussex. We have a rare vacancy to join our merry band of miscreants. The successful applicant will report to our senior brewer and work within our small production team.
Due to the wide range of clean and mixed fermentation beers we produce, you will be super-focused on hygiene, have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow our procedures.
Immediate responsibilities will focus around all areas of packaging and cellaring, including but not limited :
Working on and running our canning line, with CIP procedures
Kegging and related CIP procedures
Cask cleaning
Cask racking
Cellaring of beers
The successful candidate will have at least a year’s experience in a production brewery with a relevant qualification, or at least 2 years experience in a production brewery.
When up to speed, you will be expected to do one weekend a month of cellaring duties – any additional ones will be paid extra.
Whilst driving is not a prerequisite, please be aware that we are in a rural location with limited public transport options.
